THE REAL STORY BEHIND "FAKE" NEWS

"Fake" News is a term that has been circulating throughout the Establishment Mainstream Media as a detrimental force that can have vehemently negative consequences on our society. The truth is that actual fake news can have some negative consequences. With that said it's not the Government's job to determine what is & isn't fake news. Many Establishment figures want to go one step further in pushing for some vague legislation that allows them to crack down on any opposition. In fact, I argue that we will see far more detrimental consequences from our corporate run Government deciding what is & what isn't "propaganda".
If our Government passes legislation to censor "fake" news the Establishment will end up pushing the mainstream media garbage such as Fox News, CNN, or MSNBC while going after Independent media like Secular Talk, The Jimmy Dore Show, The Young Turks, TYT Politics, TYT Nation, Democracy Now, The Humanist Report, The David Pakman Show, WikiLeaks, Josh Hill Politics, etc... etc... (Pretty Much Anything That Goes Against The Narrative Of The Establishment). This issue is a matter of freedom of speech.
As I run my own independent commentary news outlet (Josh Hill Politics), it makes this issue a personal one for me. It's now also ironically just one more of the many policy positions I must fight against the Establishment Democrats on to ensure the Constitutional rights of the American people are not dismantled any more than has already been done. Individuals such as Hillary Clinton & Harry Reid are pushing this policy regarding "fake" news which wouldn't be much different to China's current policy on fake news. In China if your news story doesn't match up with the official position of the Chinese Government, it's deemed Fake News. The way China runs their news is through a system of authoritarian propaganda. The United States should not & cannot fall victim to the same authoritarian rule with our media that our First Amendment is presumed to protect us from.

"FAKE" NEWS UPDATE: YOUTUBE ADPOCALYPSE

Back in December of 2016 I wrote about the dangers of letting our corporate run Government go after "Fake News". We are now seeing the effects of that scenario play out with Adpocalypse on YouTube. Some of the best in independent news are getting hit by the Establishment in an attempt to silence those who stand up against the Fascist Oligarchy our country has become.
Secular Talk, The Jimmy Dore Show, The Young Turks, TYT Politics, TYT Nation, Democracy Now, The Humanist Report, The David Pakman Show, The Amazing Atheist (TJK), etc... etc... Are just a few among many others that have had their revenue cut to unsubstantial levels, while on the new YouTube TV more mainstream "authoritative" outlets are being unjustly rewarded & pushed down people's throats.
I started Josh Hill Politics because I have one goal. That goal is to inform & help to better the average American citizen & mankind as a whole. I am seeking real fundamental change in the way our Government works. Mainstream media outlets like CNN, MSNBC, & Fox "News" pathetically fail at this everyday as they have become nothing more than talking pieces for the Establishment. Due to the internet & independent media on YouTube these mainstream cable media outlets are losing viewers at mass rates & dying out as independent media on YouTube is flourishing in popularity. People are starving for substantive & truthful political coverage which a lot of independent media provides.
